August 2008

Charlotte IMA Members:

I trust you are all having a great summer and looking forward to the new opportunities the rest of the year will provide. We are very excited about this 2008-2009 IMA season. I would like to briefly highlight some of our initiatives for this upcoming year as well as take this opportunity to thank the people who supported our Charlotte IMA chapter this year and introduce our new board.

The Charlotte IMA is a 100% volunteer organization and functions only because of the efforts of those who get involved.  I’d like to take a moment to formerly introduce the 2008-2009 Board.

Each Officer has a team of chair people that they manage and various committee members to accomplish our special projects and events like chapter dinners, professional development, website maintenance, IMA newsletter, sponsorship and CMA training and certification.
